Ingredients of Spinach Vadi

  1. It's 2 cup of spinach.
  2. It's 1 cup of besan.
  3. Prepare 1/4 Cup of rice floor.
  4. You need 4 spoon of ginger-garlic,chilli paste.
  5. Prepare 1 spoon of Turmeric.
  6. It's of Salt to test.
  7. It's 3 spoon of sesame seeds.
  8. You need 1 spoon of Lemon juice.
  9. You need 1/4 spoon of soda.
  10. Prepare 1/4 cup of water, or as required.
  11. It's 1 spoon of oil for grease tray oil to shallow frying.

Spinach Vadi instructions

  1. Firstly, in a large mixing bowl take chopped spinach leaves. wash and pat dry as presence of moisture will consume more besan. add besan & rice flour. additionally add ginger-garlic,chilli paste,turmeric, salt,sesame seeds, soda and 1 tsp lemon juice..
  2. Shape the dough to cylindrical shape greasing hand with oil. prepare the steamer and grease the tray with oil. steam the dough for 15-20 minutes on medium flame. make sure the dough is cooked well by checking inserting a tooth pick. cool the dough completely.and cut them into thick slices..
  3. Further shallow fry in hot oil. stir occasionally till the wadi turns crisp and golden brown finally, serve spinach vadi along with tomato sauce / chutney / chai.
