- It's 2 cup of spinach.
- It's 1 cup of besan.
- Prepare 1/4 Cup of rice floor.
- You need 4 spoon of ginger-garlic,chilli paste.
- Prepare 1 spoon of Turmeric.
- It's of Salt to test.
- It's 3 spoon of sesame seeds.
- You need 1 spoon of Lemon juice.
- You need 1/4 spoon of soda.
- Prepare 1/4 cup of water, or as required.
- It's 1 spoon of oil for grease tray oil to shallow frying.
Spinach Vadi instructions
- Firstly, in a large mixing bowl take chopped spinach leaves. wash and pat dry as presence of moisture will consume more besan. add besan & rice flour. additionally add ginger-garlic,chilli paste,turmeric, salt,sesame seeds, soda and 1 tsp lemon juice..
- Shape the dough to cylindrical shape greasing hand with oil. prepare the steamer and grease the tray with oil. steam the dough for 15-20 minutes on medium flame. make sure the dough is cooked well by checking inserting a tooth pick. cool the dough completely.and cut them into thick slices..
- Further shallow fry in hot oil. stir occasionally till the wadi turns crisp and golden brown finally, serve spinach vadi along with tomato sauce / chutney / chai.
