- You need 2 cups of Besan.
- It's 1 cup of finely chopped coriander.
- You need 2 tbsp of garlic chilli paste.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of haldi powder.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of jaggery.
- It's to taste of Salt.
- Prepare of Oil for frying.
- It's of Water to make batter.
Kothimbir Vadi instructions
- In a bowl take besan, chopped coriander, jaggery, salt to taste, chilli and garlic paste..
- Add water and make a batter.Batter should not be to thick nor too flowy..
- Grease a plate and pour the batter..
- Take a kadai and keep steamer ring and pour water and keep the plate and steam it for 10-15 mins.Cover it with a plate while steaming..
- Remove it and let it cool completely..
- Cut it into pieces..
- Deep fry them till nice golden in colour. Serve with garlic chutney tomato ketchup..
