  1. You need 1 cup of saboot urad daal.
  2. Prepare 1 tbsp of rajma.
  3. It's 3 of Onions.
  4. It's 2 of tomatoes chopped.
  5. Prepare 1 tsp of Ginger garlic paste.
  6. Prepare 1 tsp of Red chilli powder.
  7. It's 1/2 tsp of Turmeric powder.
  8. Prepare 2 tsp of Coriander powder.
  9. Prepare 2 of Bay leaves.
  10. You need 1/4 tsp of Nutmeg powder.
  11. Prepare 1 of Cinnamon stick.
  12. It's 1 tsp of Cumin seeds.
  13. It's to taste of Salt.
  14. It's 1 tbsp of Butter or oil.
  15. It's 2 tsp of Malai.

Dal makhani instructions

  1. Soak dal and rajma for 5-6 hours..
  2. Boil then in cooker take 2-3 pressures..
  3. Heat butter/oil in a pan/kadai, crackle cumin seeds, add bay leaves, nutmeg, cinnamon powder..
  4. Make a paste of onion, tomato..
  5. Add onion paste first saute it..
  6. Add salt and spices, mix it nicely..
  7. Add ginger garlic paste and tomato paste..
  8. Cook for some time till oil start leaving the pan..
  9. Add boiled rajma and dal in it..
  10. Cook and mash them little..
  11. Add malai over it..
  12. Enjoy delicious dal makhani..
