Ingredients of Moong Dal Burfi
- You need 1 cup of Moong Dal.
- It's 1/2 cup of grated coconut.
- You need 1/2 cup of grated paneer.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of sugar.
- It's 3 cups of water.
- Prepare 2 Tbsp of Maida.
- You need 3-4 Tbsp of ghee.
Moong Dal Burfi step by step
- In a bowl add water and sugar and bring it to boil to make the syrup. Keep stirring until the sugar is dissolved and the syrup is thin strand.
- In a non-stick pan roast the Moong Dal until a aroma is there. Set aside.
- Chop the paneer in small pieces and grate the coconut. Mix them together and put them in a blender to blend. Set aside.
- Boil the Moong Dal with 1 cup water and all water should be absorbed and Dal should be boiled.
- Mash the Dal and mix the Dal with grated coconut-paneer mix. Mix well..
- Add little maida as a binding agent.
- Make small balls and set aside..
- Now in a wok heat ghee and fry in batches. Dip in sugar syrup and set aside.
