Ingredients of Dhaba Style Paneer Lababdar
- Prepare 200-225 grams of Paneer cubed.
- It's 50 grams of Paneer (grated).
- Prepare 2-3 of Bay leaves.
- Prepare 2 tsp of Kasoori Methi.
- You need 1/2 tsp of Garam masala.
- Prepare 1-2 tsp of Sugar.
- You need to taste of Salt.
- It's 2 tbsp of Ghee/Oil.
- It's 1 of Onion chopped.
- You need 3 of Tomatoes chopped.
- You need 18-20 of Cashew nuts.
- Prepare 2 tsp of Ginger Garlic paste.
- It's 2-3 of Dried Red chilli.
- It's 1 inch of Cinnamon.
- You need 3 of Green Cardamoms.
- You need 1 of Black cardamom.
- Prepare 3-4 of Cloves.
- You need 1/4 tsp of Nutmeg/Jaiphal.
- You need 1/4 tsp of Mace/Javitri.
- Prepare 1 1/2 tsp of Kashmiri Chilli powder.
- It's 1/2 tsp of Turmeric powder.
- It's 1/2 tsp of Coriander powder.

- Prepare 1 1/2 tbsp of Ghee.
Dhaba Style Paneer Lababdar step by step
- Heat 2 tbsp of ghee/oil in a large frying pan.When hot add dried red chillies, black cardamom, green cardamoms, cinnamon, cloves, mace for 5 mins..
- Add chopped onions and saute for 3-4 minutes..
- Add the ginger and garlic paste and saute..
- Add tomatoes and cashews along with 1/2 tsp of salt and saute for 3-4 min..
- Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder and nutmeg powder and saute for 2-3 min..
- Take it off the heat. Let it cool..
- Add the masala along with 2 tbsp of water in a mixer grinder and ground it into a fine and smooth paste..
- In the same pan add the rest of the ghee/oil heat it on medium heat. When hot temper it with bay leaves saute for 10 seconds. Then slowly pour in the prepared masala paste and cook in medium heat 7-8 min..
- As Oil starts coming up from gravy. add 1 cup of water and bring it to a boil..
- Add salt and sugar and continue cooking on medium heat for a minute..
- Add paneer cubes and the grated paneer and mix everything well..
- Cover and cook for 5-6 minutes on low heat..
- Add in kasoori methi and garam masala and mix well..
- Cook for another two minutes and take it off the heat..
- Grate cheese to garnish. Serve it with parathas..
