Chana dal with lauki instructions

  1. In a pressure cooker add 3 tbsp mustard oil.When the oil gets heated add everything mentioned under tempering.Add onion and fry till light pink in colour followed by ginger garlic paste and dry pow cook fr 3-4 min.Add 2 tbsp water so the masala won’t get burn..
  2. Add the tomatoes and cook till it mix with the masala and becomes mushy. Drain the Chana dal and add to the masala cook fr about 8-10 min add salt and lauki again cook fr 5-7 min till it start sticking from the bottom add 2 cups of water and put the whistle 4 whistle 2 on high flame and 2 on low.Open the lid add 2 tbsp ghee (optional)and chopped coriander.Serve.
