- You need 1 of small size lauki cut into small pieces.
- It's 1 of large onion chopped.

- You need 2 of medium sized tomatoes chopped.
- You need 1 tsp of Haldi.
- It's 1.5 tsp of red chilli pow.

- In a pressure cooker add 3 tbsp mustard oil.When the oil gets heated add everything mentioned under tempering.Add onion and fry till light pink in colour followed by ginger garlic paste and dry pow cook fr 3-4 min.Add 2 tbsp water so the masala won’t get burn..
- Add the tomatoes and cook till it mix with the masala and becomes mushy. Drain the Chana dal and add to the masala cook fr about 8-10 min add salt and lauki again cook fr 5-7 min till it start sticking from the bottom add 2 cups of water and put the whistle 4 whistle 2 on high flame and 2 on low.Open the lid add 2 tbsp ghee (optional)and chopped coriander.Serve.
